3 Things to Check Before You Buy
Not the spec-sheet stuff — the practical things that actually affect what you can make.
Working area vs. your projects
A bigger bed sounds better, but make sure it actually fits your space and the materials you'll buy. Sheet goods are sized in standard increments — measure twice.
Speed matters as much as power
Two machines with the same wattage can have very different engraving speeds. If you're running a business, speed is what determines how many orders you can turn around.
Don't skip ventilation & air assist
Fumes from wood, acrylic, and coated materials are no joke. Get your exhaust and air assist sorted before your first job — an inline fan upgrade is worth it from day one.

Maker is the entry-to-midrange workhorse on a 20"x28" bed. Pronto trades some flexibility for significantly faster engraving speeds — better for production. Pro steps up to higher wattage, larger formats, built-in chillers, and (on the Hybrid) metal cutting.
